The Star Wars Mania in Hong Kong

The Star Wars fever had begun in 1977 and today it has become a legacy which has passed on from generations to generations. Last November I was in Hong Kong with my family and around the same time Star Wars – The Force Awakens promotions were on all around the world in full swing. We visited the Times Square – Hong Kong located in  1 Matheson St, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

During our visit it felt like we have been transported to the Star Wars world as the whole area had been converted according to the theme of the movie.

The outdoor  structures were created out of Lego and they were massive. The detailing that had gone in creating them was just amazing.

The Star Wars theme had also been extended to some of the indoor sections of the Times Square. This time it was time to get ready for the attack of some storm troopers.

This section functioned as a photo booth as there was a long queue of people who wanted to take their pictures with the storm troopers. Honestly, these figures seemed so real that you would imagine that they would come to life in the next moment.

I know I am quite late in sharing this post with you all but this was an experience which I had to share with you guys. I hope that when the next Star Wars movie is out I experience this once again and hopefully you all will get to enjoy this in which ever part of the world you reside. Till then “May The Force Be With You” 🙂
